Dear
Colleagues,
The thematic network of academic collaboration "Low Dimensional Systems with
Biotechnological Applications”, have the pleasure to invite
academicians, researchers and students from all over the world to participate in the:
1st International Congress on Materials
with Low Dimensionality (ICMLD-2016)
on
August 22-23, 2016.
The
conference will be held in the auditorium “Dr. Eladio Sáenz Quiroga” of
the Faculty
of Mathematics and Physics / Facultad de Ciencias Físico Matemáticas of
the Universidad
Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico.
The
main aim of this congress is perform an international and multidisciplinary platform
for academicians, researchers and students to share and exchange knowledge,
ideas and questions related to the field of low dimensional materials, from the
physical fundaments of the unique behaviors and properties that these systems
exhibit to the development of innovative applications.
The
conference will cover any topic related to the low-dimensional materials
including, but not limited to, nano-manufacturing, nanostructure´s
functionalization, quantum dots, photocatalysis, magnetism in nanostructures, spintronics,
plasmonics, theory and modeling at nanoscale, nanomedicine and
nanobiotechnology applications.
The
number of participants (speakers, poster presenter and only attendance) will be
limited to 100 persons. The participants of the ICMLD-2016 have to previously register by sending e-mail to icmld16@gmail.com with

The registration to participate in the ICMLD-2016 is free.
Speakers
and poster presenters will be invited to
publish their works in the ICMLD-2016
proceedings, which will be published as a special issue of the journal
“Current Nanoscience (ISSN: 1875-6786 online, 1573-4137 print)”, which is indexed by the Journal Science Report (JSR) (current
Impact Factor: 0.934). Submitted papers will follow the standard peer-review
process. Only accepted papers after this process will be considered for
publication.
